  • Responsibilities: Prototyped the initial version of the library in C, that provides the fault-tolerance for applications running on top of non-volatile memory

MASTER’S THESIS -  LIG LABORATORY, TEAM ERODS

  • Title: Designing fault-tolerant multi-threaded applications for Non-Volatile Memory using checkpoints

  • Subject: After an extensive analysis of state-of-the-art techniques, studying their advantages and drawbacks, I
    proposed, implemented and evaluated an algorithm which allows the data structures, that are stored in NVMM, to
    be restored in a consistent state after a failure, while maintaining failure-free performance

February 2019 – July 2019

MASTER’S RESEARCH INTERNSHIP -  LIG LABORATORY, TEAM ERODS

  • Title: On the Use of Non-Volatile Memory as Main Memory in Intel Processors

  • Subject: Studied the behavior of Intel processor instructions for flushing the cache lines (clflush, clflushopt, clwb), using hardware performance counters. Identified the results that contradicted the existing assumptions
